Delivering a Healthy WA

Graduate Development Program

What does the Graduate Development Program offer?

WA Health annually recruits and develops talented individuals through the Graduate Development Program.

WA Health is committed to attracting and retaining graduates through:

  • Providing challenging work that develops the skills, knowledge and experience of the graduate.
  • Offering a range of training opportunities to help increase skills and knowledge.
  • Introducing graduates to the corporate culture of the Public Sector and WA Health.
  • Assisting graduates to develop initiative, self-confidence, ethical behaviour, leadership, drive and application.
  • Providing training and work experience that improves job opportunities and career prospects.
  • Shadowing, mentoring and coaching opportunities with WA Health's senior executives.
  • Flexible working hours to suit both yourself and your work unit. This may include study leave or taking time off after having worked additional hours above your normal working week.

A series of placements across WA Health gives graduates the opportunity to be involved in the administration of WA Health services.
